MEMBERSHIP

By joining the ALA, you'll gain a network for exchanging ideas, concerns and resources among landowners, representation on important issues, and help ensure that the interests of Adirondack landowners are well advocated. There are two tiers of membership:

Regular Members

An individual who owns or leases 50 acres or more of land within the Adirondack Park; or an organization owning or leasing land with the Adirondack Park, regardless of size: or an individual owning less than 50 acres and electing to join as a Regular member. Annual dues are related to the size of land ownership.

Regular members have the right to vote at membership meetings and are eligible for election as an officer or director of the corporation.

Associate Members

An individual who owns or leases less than 50 acres of land within the Adirondack Park. Individuals affiliated with an organization eligible for election as a Regular member are not eligible for election as an Associate Member unless such organization is a regular member.  Annual dues is a fixed sum independent of the size of land ownership.  Associate members do not have the right to vote, but are eligible for election as a director of the corporation.
